We were lucky enough to be chosen by this lovely couple Barbie & Jeremy to hold their beautiful wedding here at The Oystercatcher. Even though the heavens opened the day of the wedding, it was still a stunning day, both the bride and groom looked wonderful.

This beautiful wedding was filled with beautiful flowers, dancing, and nature, from the ceremony on the beach, surrounded by fresh sea air, washed-up seaweed, and birds flying over, to a beautiful wedding breakfast that Chef created using all local ingredients. Otter Ferry is filled with the most wonderful produce.

The Menu included a wonderful veggie-filled mezze board, homemade goodies surrounding the rustic boards they were presented on, local Gigha Halibut, with homegrown nasturtiums and foraged wild girolles & homegrown strawberry tart, with wild elderflower sauce.

Myself, Steve and our lovely team worked hard to make the floral dream the bride wished for, we sourced a mixture of wildflowers and locally sourced flowers for the bouquet, button holes, and all the floral decorations for the venue and tables.
