who we are, what we do & how we became to be here

About Us

Just a little bit about us... we don't want to bore you! This is our little family, Phoebe, Steve, Lilo & Stitch, we have moved to the beautiful little 'village' called Otter Ferry from the Cotswolds. Both I and Steve have worked in hospitality for a long time (Steve has been a chef for 17 years) but we thought it was time to branch out on our own and make a business for ourselves, so here we are! The locals and community here as well as the location have been the bow on the top of a beautiful cake, the community in Otter Ferry and the surrounding is outstanding and so many lovely people!

Our main goal was to make a lovely business with a warm and friendly atmosphere with great food, but also to have a balance of life, for us this is important as 5 Years ago in December, Steve AKA Chef had an aortic dissection, for this he had only a 25% survival rate, but he did it! He's here and healthy but life is important for this reason, at some point it will require more surgery but until then we will enjoy this awesome journey and all that Scotland has to offer!

We also have our two lovely pups Lilo and Stitch (New Zealand Huntaways) little trouble makers, who have a loud bark but wouldn't hurt a fly! We have my Sister Neve here and her wee pup too Copper, both little gems! We also have 5 rescue chickens, who rule this place, they are super friendly and absolutely hilarious.

As of June 2024 we will also be adding to the mix a wee baby, after being told we were unable to have children, we had a wonderful surprise and will be welcoming our first child in June.

The Bar & Restaurant

Just a little bit about the Pub, when you enter the pub you will see the cosy bar area, with a huge log burner & comfy sofas to enjoy a pint or two. The Bar is stocked with local beers, gins & lots of local whiskies for a wee dram.

Off to the left is the 'Snug' a cute little area with an open fireplace, to keep you toasty in the winter while sipping on some delicious wines.

To the far end of the pub, we have the restaurant, lined with local artwork and sparkly fairy lights to offer a comfortable dining experience, to the front we have a lovely garden, filled with benches to overlook the loch in the summer months, those sunsets are amazing.

Dog Friendly

Dog Friendly Bar & Restaurant

Please note we are a dog-friendly pub & restaurant, we personally have 3 dogs and this is their home, so they are around in the building and sometimes walking around in the bar, etc, we also have a massive following of customers who love to bring their dogs with them to the pub, in fact, we encourage it! So just a little note if you are afraid or don't like dogs to be aware when booking, as this might not be the place for you.
